Waterberg Plateau campsite
The Waterberg Plateau campsite is located near the reception of the Waterberg Wilderness Private Nature Reserve. The camp only has eight campsites on the soft red sand of the Kalahari, separated by shrubs and trees. At a shaded bar, guests can order drinks, snacks and meats and use the power outlets to charge cellphones and camera batteries. There is a swimming pool and a viewpoint, overlooking the bush savannah of the Kalahari. Camping guests can take part in the activities (guided plateau hike, honeymoon sundowner, Rhino Drive, game viewing, a cultural tour of Hereroland, history trail, five nature trails) and can even have dinner at the Waterberg Valley Lodge restaurant (5 mins walk).
