At the Windhoek International Airport, you will be met by a representative of the Car Hire Company that will welcome you and take you directly to the Car hire company in Windhoek.  At the Car Hire Company, you will be met by a Meine Namibia Safaris representative and they will assist you with the procedure of receiving your vehicle. Thereafter, the representative will discuss your tour in detail with you. Once all has been discussed, you will start your journey to your first accommodation. Today you can spend the whole day on self-drive safari basis in the Etosha National Park. It is best to leave right after breakfast, as it is a slow day, today. In the Etosha National Park there are thousands of animals of all kinds to discover, which are usually found at the waterholes. Depending on the season there can be quite a lot going on and you find yourself in the middle of hundreds of springboks, zebras, elephants and other animals that inhabit the park. In the afternoon you will leave the park again through the southern entrance gate and spend a second night at the Etosha Safari Camp.

Today you have another the opportunity to observe animals in the Etosha National Park. You will drive over the Andersson Gate into the park. From Okaukuejo you pass along the southern edge of the salt pan. This area is very popular with the animals and through the sparse vegetation you have the opportunity to see the animals from afar. You will leave the Park trough the Namutoni Gate, which is very close to your next accommodation.

After a good breakfast, you will drive back to Windhoek, where you will return your vehicle at the Car Hire. As per your flight times (in the late afternoon), the Car Rental Shuttle will escort you to the airport, from where you will start your journey home.

This tour is an example tour to give guests who were not yet in Namibia an idea of what their short Namibian trip might look like.
