At the Windhoek International Airport, you will be met by a representative of the Car Hire Company that will welcome you and take you directly to the Car hire company in Windhoek.  At the Car Hire Company, you will be met by a Meine Namibia Safaris representative and they will assist you with the procedure of receiving your vehicle. Thereafter, the representative will discuss your tour in detail with you. Once all has been discussed, you will start your journey to your first accommodation. After a 2 hours’ drive you will be welcomed at the Hassenhof Guest Farm. Enjoy your first sundowner on a farm in Namibia.

Today you can spend the whole day on self-drive safari basis in the Etosha National Park. It is best to leave right after breakfast, as it is a slow day, today. Depending on the season there can be quite a lot going on and you find yourself in the middle of hundreds of springboks, zebras, elephants and other animals that inhabit the park.

After a good breakfast, you will drive back to Windhoek, where you will return your vehicle at the Car Hire. As per your flight times (in the late afternoon), the Car Rental Shuttle will escort you to the airport, from where you will start your journey home.

This tour is an example tour to give guests who were not yet in Namibia an idea of what their short Namibian trip might look like. The tour can be customized as per requests based on interests, e.g. a mixed lodge / camping tour, a luxury lodge tour or even a pure camping tour can be planned out of it.
