Waterberg Plateau Lodge
The Waterberg Plateau Lodge's restaurant and chalets are set on a rocky terrace high on the slopes of the Waterberg and offer great views of the endless Kalahari bush savannah. Each of the double chalets is located between red sandstone cliffs surrounded by green bush, with total privacy guaranteed. Acacias shade the terrace; A plunge pool filled with spring water cools down and attracts birds and small game. The lodge is part of the Waterberg Wilderness Private Nature Reserve and features an adventure world on Kalahari Table Mountain. Guests can take part in guided hikes, honeymoon sundowners, rhinoceros rides, wildlife viewing tours or cultural tours to Hereroland. You can walk back in time on the Historic Path (Battle of Waterberg 1904) and explore the valley of the Waterberg Wilderness on five nature trails.
