Epupa Waterfalls and the Kunene River
Bordering Namibia and Angola is the eponymous Kunene River, which is one of only five perennial rivers in Namibia. The Kunene River is an invaluable source of water for the local Himba people and has been the mainstay of their existence for hundreds of years. For travelers, the most striking feature of the river is the magnificent Epupa Falls, which have an impressive vertical waterfall of about 60 meters.
