Etosha East
Etosha National Park is located in northwestern Namibia and is a protected National Park.
The park is one of the best accessible game reserves in southern Africa. It has extensive open plains speckled with semi-arid savannah grasslands dotted with waterholes and luscious mopane trees.
An impressive 5000 square kilometer salt pan forms a large part of the eastern side of the park and can even be seen from outer space. This remote area is rich in wildlife such as lions, elephants, black rhinos, and giraffes, but also bird species such as flamingos, ostriches, eagles, hornbills, and owls make Etosha their home.
