At Windhoek International Airport you will be met by a representative of the Car Hire Company that will welcome you and take you directly to the Car hire company in Windhoek.  At the Car Hire Company, you will be met by a Meine Namibia Safaris representative and they will assist you with the procedure of receiving your vehicle. Thereafter, the representative will discuss your tour in detail with you. Once all has been discussed, you will have the opportunity to purchase a few things for your tour at a local supermarket and head to your guesthouse, where you can relax and enjoy the afternoon at own leisure.

Today you will depart on the tarred road to Grootfontein. Very close to Grootfontein is the Hoba Meteorite, which is the largest meteorite in the world, and definitely worth a visit. It fell to earth about 80,000 years ago and weighs about 66 tons. The journey then continues northwest to the eastern side of the Etosha National Park. Located here is also the Onguma Private Game Reserve, with the beautiful Onguma Bush lodge. Enjoy the night here with a view of the waterhole and a memorable sundowner.

Today you will spend the whole day on self-drive safari basis in the Etosha National Park. It is advised to best depart for the Park right after breakfast.
