Join us on off-road tours through the breathtaking Kaokoland and Damaraland, either as a self-driver or as a passenger in our guided small groups.

Guided Botswana Offroad Tour November 2025

The guided self-drive off-road tour from Windhoek through Botswana to Victoria Falls offers unparalleled adventures and the unique opportunity to explore the rich wildlife of these areas. Along our route, we encounter a variety of fascinating landscapes and animal species that will thrill any adventure seeker.

We often traverse remote areas on challenging off-road tracks that are inaccessible to the average traveler. In doing so, we experience the pristine beauty of the African wilderness and come into close contact with its incomparable diversity of flora and fauna.

(However, please note that we are traveling at the beginning of the rainy season. This means that we may need to be flexible to respond to unforeseen weather events. If certain areas experience heavy rainfall, we may be forced to spontaneously change our route or choose alternative routes to ensure your safety and the best travel experience).

Despite these potential challenges, you can rest assured that the reward at the end of this epic journey will be the majestic Victoria Falls – a breathtaking natural wonder that will provide you with unforgettable memories and unparalleled views.

An Exciting Start to the Central Kalahari!

Today marks the beginning of our off-road adventure into this fascinating area. Starting on gravel roads and later venturing onto off-road tracks, we make our way through the deep sands of the Kalahari. This region is not only popular among many animals but also among predators such as big cats.

In the evening, we will camp right in the midst of the wilderness of this breathtaking landscape. The Deception Valley rises amidst a series of beautiful pans known as Pipers Pan. This place is characterized by exceptional beauty, where pans of various sizes and soil types merge into a complex pattern of ecosystems.

Parts of the main pan are covered with waving grass, where lions often hide during the heat of the day. Meerkats and ground squirrels inhabit the edges, while birds of prey patrol the treeline along the ancient shores.

It promises to be an unforgettable experience as we explore the pristine wilderness of the Kalahari and witness the wonders of this landscape up close.

The safari in the Central Kalahari continues today. Along small, sandy tracks, we continue to roam the bush, always on the lookout for the abundant wildlife that this region has to offer.

We keep an eye out for the majestic lions, the elegant cheetahs, the graceful antelopes, and other fascinating creatures that call this wild landscape home. Every turn of the track presents the opportunity for a new animal encounter or a breathtaking view of the endless expanses of the Kalahari.

In the evening, we arrive at our campsite, nestled in the heart of the wilderness. Under the clear starry sky, we gather around the campfire, sharing stories and reflecting on the day's experiences. However, we must remain vigilant, as the campsites are unfenced, and wild animals can roam through or pass by the camp at any time.

We hope for more exciting animal encounters and continue to be enchanted by the beauty and the silence of nature surrounding us.

Dinner Cruise on the Mighty Zambezi

In the morning, depending on the agreed drop-off time, we hand over the rental vehicles to a representative from the car rental company who will come to our accommodation. Afterwards, a shuttle bus will take us to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. We consciously opt for this shuttle service as crossing the border with our own vehicle can be cumbersome and expensive, and we won't need a vehicle at the falls.

The visa costs approximately US$ 30 and can be obtained by most entrants at the border. Please check if this applies to your country of origin.

The afternoon is free for you to enjoy a helicopter flight over the mighty waterfalls or to participate in one of the many other activities offered here.

In the late afternoon, we will be picked up by a shuttle again, which will take us to a jetty on the Zambezi River. There, we'll embark on a fantastic boat ride with sunset views and dinner on board. This is an absolutely wonderful way to explore the river above the falls and to unwind at the end of the day.
