At Windhoek International Airport you will be met by a representative of the Car Hire Company that will take you directly to Windhoek. You will then be met by your guide and he will assist you with the procedure of receiving your vehicle. Thereafter, the Guide will discuss your tour in detail with you. Once all has been discussed, the Guide will accompany you to your guesthouse, where you can relax and enjoy the afternoon at own leisure.

For dinner all tour participants will enjoy their first night in Namibia together at a local restaurant.

Today our big adventure starts. After breakfast you will be met by the guide at the guesthouse, where a short briefing takes place. Then you will depart Windhoek and drive in convoy with the group, heading mostly in the northwesterly direction of Namibia. In the afternoon we will reach our destination, the beautiful Spitzkoppe.

Here we will set up camp at the foot of the mighty Spitzkoppe mountain and enjoy the first night under the starry skies of Namibia.

Spitzkoppe is the Matterhorn of Namibia. It is a mountain of volcanic origin, which surmounts its surroundings at about 700 meters. The mighty granite bubbles form a spectacular landscape, which is very popular with photographers and climbers.
Here you can visit ancient rock engravings from the Bushmen tribe, the famous "Rock Pool", which is sometimes filled with water in the rainy season, and the "Rock Arch" which is also a famous photo opportunity.

Today we have our first off-road (4x4) stage ahead of us. We will cross the remote Damaraland and drive to Namibia's tallest mountain, the Brandberg mountain. Here we will overnight on the banks of the Ugab dry river, which is also known as a home to the desert adapted elephants.

The drive today is mostly on challenging off-road trails, along the northern edge of the Brandberg mountain, in search of the desert elephants, lions and the rare black rhinos.

The Zebra Canyon is only been visited by very few people, making the Canyon a perfect place to set up our wild camp. The Zebra Canyon is located near Brandberg and is part of the Ugab River. The area is a geological wonderland and you can spend hours looking at its beauty.

Our wild bush camp will have a mobile shower and a bush toilet. We'll sleep safely on top of the cars in the roof tents and enjoy a perfect night under the stars, with no artificial lights that spoil the view. The evening will be enjoyed around the campfire with the tranquility of the desert, while your guide prepares dinner on the warm coals.

The off-road adventure continues today through desert landscapes, swamps and dry rivers. We will spend another the night in the middle of the untouched wild nature, entertained under a spectacular starry sky around the campfire.

We will depart from our second Wild camp, on a small off-road trail, through a dry riverbed and go in search of the desert adapted animals. With a little luck we could see the mighty desert elephants, lions, black rhinos, giraffes and a further variety of animals in front of our camera lenses. Eventually we will cross over stony slopes to the beautiful Palmwag Campsite. Here, the two swimming pools are very welcoming after a warm morning in the desert, and are perfect for an afternoon of leisure.

We will depart from Palmwag and drive over gravel roads into the southern side of the Kaokoland. On the banks of a mighty dry river lies the beautiful Okahirongo Elephant lodge, where we can relax in the afternoon. Animal sightings are also possible from the Lodge.

Today we will leave the luxury of Okahirongo Elephant Lodge and drive on off-road slopes to the beautiful Hoanib Dry River, where you can often find elephants, lions, giraffes and other desert adapted animals. Tonight, we will once again sleep in the middle of the wilderness and enjoy the night with a wild campfire.

After a good breakfast we will continue our journey. We will drive on off-road slopes in the Hoanib River, always on the lookout for the wildlife that inhabits the area. Around noon, we will pass by a spring that flows over a waterfall into a naturally formed pool. This is the perfect place to cool off before departing to the lodge. In the evening we will set up camp at the Khowarib Lodge.

A challenging off-road leads us today through the beautiful Khowarib Gorge. Thereafter the last few kilometers lead us on good gravel roads to our destination, where we will pitch our camp at the beautiful Hoada Campsite.

Today we will head back to Damaraland on some of the most demanding desert routes. Our beautiful wild camp is located near the massive Brandberg. A hill of large granite boulders provides shelter for us from the southwesterly wind, which often blows in the afternoon. Enjoy the great panorama over the barren desert areas, overlooking the highest mountain in Namibia.

Today we will travel in some of the most barren parts in Namibia. The skeleton coast will reveal a rough and deserted face of the Namib Desert, and we will have the opportunity to view a few shipwrecks. In the late afternoon we will reach Swakopmund, and in the evening a wonderful meal will be enjoyed at a local recommended restaurant.

Today is the final stage of this tour, we will drive back to Windhoek. A gravel road leads us first through the flat Namib Desert and later through the hills of the Khomas Highlands.
