At the Windhoek International Airport, you will be met by a representative of the Car Hire Company that will escort you directly to Windhoek. You will then be met by your guide and he will assist you with the procedure of receiving your vehicle. Thereafter, the Guide will discuss your tour in detail with you. Once all has been discussed, the Guide will accompany you to your Guesthouse, where you can relax and enjoy the afternoon at own leisure.

Today the big journey begins, and at noon we will cross the border to Botswana. Crossing the border is relatively an easy and fast process. In the evening we reach our first campsite near Ghanzi, where we will enjoy a delicious dinner at the Lodge.

We will leave the tarred roads behind for the next few days and embark on challenging 4x4 routes through the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, in search for its abundant wildlife.

Today we continue to explore the Central Kalahari game reserve and observe all its wildlife.

We will leave the Central Kalahari Game Reserve via thick sandy slopes. Once we reach the tarred road, we will continue north to a river called the Boteti River. We will spend the night at the small and cozy Boteti River Camp.

On well-maintained tarred roads we will travel to the Okavango Delta. As a quick stopover, we have the opportunity to not only refuel but also restock on some supplies and refreshment in Maun, before going to the Moremi National Park. Shortly after our stopover, we continue our journey to our unfenced campsite. This means that we can always expect a visit from the resident wildlife in the park.

The next two days we have time to explore the beautiful Moremi National Park. Sometimes we will pass-through deep-water passages, that we have to be master, and ever so often we have the childlike thrill of driving over small wooden bridges. Traveling through the park is done at a very slow pace as the chances to meet elephants, antelopes, lions and other animals on our path are quite high. Tonight, we will set up our camp in the middle of the national park hosted by what can be known as Botswana’s ultimate wilderness.

Today we will continue through dense mopane forests through the Moremi to our next destination. In the afternoon we leave the national park and drive over the last wooden bridge to Khwai River. Our colorful guesthouse is situated near the river. Khwai is just outside the northeastern border of the famous Moremi National Park and is a small, rural village with about 400 inhabitants. Most of them belong to the Babukahwe or, more generally, to the Khoisan tribe. This is the perfect starting and ending point for safaris to the Okavango Delta and Moremi.

Today we will leave Khwai and drive north across the Savuti National Park. The route today can be very challenging to the Chobe River Front. We will spend the night at the beautiful Muchenje campsite.

Today we will head to one of Botswana’s most visited towns, Kasane. Kasane is the meeting pint of four Southern African countries - Zimbabwe, Zambia, Namibia and Botswana. Your beautiful lodge is located on the estern side of the wonderful Chobe National Park and directly on the banks of the Chobe River.

We leave our vehicles in Kasane today. A shuttle bus will take us to the Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. We deliberately take this shuttle service because crossing the border with our own vehicle is time consuming and expensive.

Today we have another well-deserved day of adventure at the Victoria Falls. The day can be used for other activities at the falls or just to relax at the poolside. In the late afternoon we all meet for a dinner boat cruise on the mighty Zambezi River. Here we can enjoy the beautiful sunset and dinner together.

Today we head back to Namibia via the Ngoma border post. Here you will explore the Zambezi Strip (formerly known as the Caprivi Strip, named after the German General von Caprivi in colonial times). This green stripe differs significantly in animal diversity and vegetation from the rest of Namibia. The beautiful lodge is located directly on the Kwando River, which invites us to more boat trips and great safaris.

The additional day at Camp Kwando invites us to explore the area. The lodge offers many different activities. These include open vehicle safaris to the surrounding national parks, e.g. to Mundumo and Bwabwata Park as well as boat trips on the Kwando River.

Today we continue west through the Zambezi Strip. The beautiful Shametu Lodge & Campsite is located on the Okavango Riverbanks and surrounded by beautiful trees, near the Popa Rapids. Fill your afternoon at Shametu River Lodge & Campsite with a range of activities, from a picnic near the Rapid, to a Tiger Fishing trip.

Today we leave the subtropical Caprivi strip and drive south to a traditional Namibian guest farm. Here we will discover the real farm life. The Dornhügel Guest Farm is a place of homely atmosphere and can friendly staff.

Today we will continue further south to the beautiful Waterberg Wilderness Private Nature Reserve. On route near Grootfontein we have the opportunity to see the largest meteorite in the world. Thereafter we continue on gravel roads to the mighty Waterberg Mountain, where we will spend the next two nights nestled in high up on the slopes of the mountain, at the beautiful Waterberg Plateau Lodge.

The Waterberg Mountain is a hiker’s dream destination. You can either take a guided hike on the plateau, where you can with a bit of luck encounter buffalos and rhinos. Or explore one of the hiking trails further down the on the mountain valley. Waterberg Plateau Lodge also offers other activities.

Today we will leave the Waterberg and drive south, back to where the tour started, Windhoek. We will spend the afternoon at the guest house or doing some last-minute souvenir shopping. The group will have one last dinner together at a local recommended Restaurant.
